Are you a regular user of ATM. Then you should follow this 10 Safety Tips to make safe and secure cash transactions.

  • Always keep the ATM-Debit card in a safe place. What I have always see is that most of the people displays it to others when their wallet is opened.
  • While entering the PIN make sure to hide the keypad. At the same time make sure that no one is in the ATM counter when you are operating it.
  • Most of the People change the ATM-PIN only for the first time. But make sure to change it on regular intervals.
  • If you lost your ATM card, contact your bank and block the card as soon as possible. Make sure that you have saved Banks contact number in your phone. It will be better to keep the Bank Manager's number too.
  • Never give your ATM card to anyone to operate this includes your Father, Mother, Husband, Wife and children and also your Friends and Relatives.
  • I have seen that so many people has the habit of writing down ATM PIN in a paper and keep in the wallet and some saves the same in the Mobile Phone too. Never do such things.
  • If you do not know how to operate an ATM Machine. Never ask for the help from strangers. You can contact the Bank or get help from your dear ones.
  • Before leaving from the ATM counter make sure that all your transaction process is completed and you have taken the ATM card with you. Because some ATM Machine takes the card in to the Machine. And if you take the printouts from the machine make sure to dispose it or keep it with you.
  • If you found your ATM card is not working make sure to dispose it properly.
